South Koreans F-16 Upgrade Deal Finalized by BAE


Britain's BAE Systems said on monday to upgrade 130 F-16 fighter at its Forth Worth, Texas, Plants and Other Sites it will hire 300 workers after the US government finalizes the deal, it hopes to replicate in other places in Europe and Asia in coming years.

GM Unit Opel Avoids Cost Cuts Due to Its Sales Growth


General Motors European Opel is optimistic about 2014 sale growth and to avoid further cost cutting Chief Executive Karl-Thomas Neumann told newspaper Sueddeutsche Zeitung.

Opel will be profitable by 2016, But the company is about to face a difficult year ahead. The company will be weighed down due to the restructuring cost for ending vehicles production  at its factory in Bochum in Germany.

Denso, Continental, Bosch units Are Finned by South Korea For Price Collusion



Denso Corp, Continental AG and Bosch was finned with a total of 114.6 billion won ($107.99 million) by the  South Korea's anti-trust regulator, saying that parts were sold to Hyundai Motor Co at a fixed price.


The fine comes as antitrust regulators from the United States to Europe and Japan crack down on price collusion among auto parts makers. The items that were globally effected include Power Steering Components, Seat Belts, Power Window Motor, Radiators and  Air conditioning Systems.
